Jeffrey Dean Morgan reflects on favorite line on The Walking Dead
Jeffrey Dean Morgan reflects on one of his favorite moments on The Walking Dead and it comes with his all-time favorite line on the show, too.
We all know that Jeffrey Dean Morgan loves bringing Negan to life, and we also know he shares a very close relationship to the cast of The Walking Dead even though they’re constantly battling each other. Morgan reflects on one of his favorite moments from the show during a panel at Walker Stalker Con New Jersey December 9-10, 2017.
Morgan loves the cat and mouse relationship between Rick and Negan, especially early on in season 7 when Negan really had Rick going. There’s that one moment when Negan knows he has Rick right where he wants him during the season 7 premiere, and there’s a line that Negan says to him that Morgan claims is his all-time favorite line from the show:
“I just slipped my c**k down your throat and you thanked me for it.”
Here’s the video of Morgan sharing this memory with fans:
As you can see, Morgan delights in how Andrew Lincoln wanted to get that scene over with but Morgan felt the need to really get it right. And he did, after several dozen takes.
Being able to get this kind of up close experience with the cast of The Walking Dead is one of the reasons we love Walker Stalker Con and all that they do to help bring fans closer to the show they love. It’s great knowing that fans come away from every convention experience with little gems like this one.
