Damn  Nice Night

Inside Ezekiel’s throne room, he sits on the ground and reads a note from Jerry that he’s leaving with Carol. When he hears a noise outside, he rushes out to hear men shouting so he hurries to hide before the Saviors come in looking for him.

Jesus asks Maggie if she thinks the Saviors will surrender. “Eventually,” she says. She knows she wouldn’t surrender quickly. They drive along and she says they have to run out of supplies first. Up ahead is a tree in the road. It’s a big one that wasn’t there before. Jesus says it could have fallen on its own, but Maggie knows it was the Saviors. Maggie calls for the other car to turn around but there is no answer and in the distance there are cars coming up behind them. The truck in the lead pulls around them and blocks the path. It’s a big truck and it opens its doors. The men inside have Jerry and a coffin. Simon gets out and says hello to everyone. “What a damn nice night,” he says.

Carl tells the people that they have to survive the night so he loads up and tells everyone to start moving. Michonne says they can’t let the Saviors have Alexandria and he reminds her that this is his show. They have one minute but they won’t be there.

Gavin is at the Kingdom and he addresses everyone. He would rather be at home but they needed to fight. He didn’t want to be the one having to do this. Now everything they have will belong to Negan. All men and women will work to repair to Sanctuary while the Saviors move into the nice community at the Kingdom.
