#2. What will it take to bring back The King?

Last time we saw Ezekiel, he was shattered after losing Shiva and so many people from The Kingdom and locked himself inside the church not to be seen by anyone while he sorts out his feelings.

However, when The Saviors arrived at the community, Ezekiel jumped into action. With none of his people willing to give up his location, he hid from the people busting into his home in order to gain an advantage over Gavin and Negan’s people, making a bold move to save his people.

Ezekiel distracted the group by starting a massive fire using barrels of fuel and then appeared on the scene, crashing a bus through the wall while his people fought to escape out the doors of the community.

To ensure they would get away, Ezekiel used Shiva’s chains to lock the gate. This move didn’t sit well with Carol, but it showed that even though ‘The King’ was in a really bad place, he never lost the ability to be a great leader and care about his people.
