#4. Where are Dwight and Eugene’s allegiances?

Through season 7 and season 8, there have been plenty of reasons to doubt the motives of both Dwight and Eugene, as well as see hints at both of them playing both sides or looking out for their own interests.

As far as Eugene goes, he was firmly known as “Negan” going into this episode, but a change of heart had him giving Dr. Carson and Father Gabriel the means to escape from The Sanctuary and return to Rick’s side.

Oh the other hand, Dwight eliminated any doubt that he has completely switched sides to work for Rick Grimes by killing people from The Sanctuary and leading others right into a trap set by the Alexandrians.

While there is still plenty of times for other things to happen, both characters decided to take some action toward supporting Rick’s group…but only Eugene has a long way to go before he can be considered part of Alexandria again.
