The Walking Dead, Red Machete, Part 1: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
Just because there’s no regular episodes of The Walking Dead for a while, that doesn’t mean we don’t have Things To Note!
IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!!
After a long time of wanting more The Walking Dead webisodes, we finally got some. Thank God.
I have to say, barring the backstory webisodes I’ve asked for, like Bob’s or Eastman’s, for example, I couldn’t really ask for much more. These webisodes take us back to the early days of the outbreak, and, for the most part, follow a completely new set of characters.
Now, the central element to these webisodes haven’t been some connection to Rick while he lay in a coma, or what he saw when he woke up, but, instead, something that’s significance we saw firsthand: The Red Machete, whose moment of glory came when Rick used it to savagely hack Gareth to death in Season Five’s “Four Walls And A Roof”.
While we may see that in one of the later episodes, for now, we’re not going to talk about that, instead, we’ll talk about the machete’s adventures before it met Rick. Not only that, but we’ll all look at all the little tidbits of information and bits of trivia you might miss the first time you watch the webisodes (Which I suggest you do).
Are you ready? It’s time for an all-new The Walking Dead, Things To Note!!
