In yet another example of why the Internet can be awesome, Jeffrey Dean Morgan posts about a shipping issue and Twitter explodes with support.
If there’s one lesson to be learned from recent episodes of The Walking Dead, it’s that you don’t mess with Negan’s stuff. That ain’t cool. Needless to say, that goes for actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, too. So when Morgan had some issues with what we can only presume to be a Christmas present delivery, Twitter jumped on it.
On December 22, Morgan took to Twitter to express frustration with Amazon: “Dear Amazon I was promised to get a delivery that is VERY important today by 8… at 8:30, I get a message saying it may not be here until the 27th. Yeah… THAT DOESN’T WORK. Santa doesn’t deliver on the 27th. Sure hope this gets taken care of. Don’t make promises you can’t keep.”
Here’s the tweet:
Dear @amazon I was promised to get a delivery that is VERY important today by 8... at 830, I get a message it may not be here until the 27th. Yeah... THAT DOESN’T WORK. Santa doesn’t deliver on 27th. Sure hope this gets taken care of. Don’t make promises you can’t keep.

Needless to say, Amazon responded quickly to get the details from JDM:
I'm extremely sorry you haven't received your order yet, Jeffery! Our team would like to look into this with you. Please send us your details here: https://t.co/WNqg1DxDZ5 ^JP

I have to wonder if Amazon realized who they were talking to at this point…because it gets worse:
Thanks for sending us your information. We're sorry we spelled your name wrong. We are looking into this. ^JP

Misspelled name? (Jeffery, not Jeffrey) Pee pee pants city, indeed.
After the interaction, of course that meant that JDM also got some support from Twitter on the subject, because we all know that you don’t mess with Negan’s stuff. One look at some of these posts, with JDM in full Negan mode, makes me laugh to think of what Amazon must be doing to make sure that package arrives on time.
Here are some of the best tweets on the subject:

As of this posting there has been no update as to whether or not the special delivery has arrived or not, but we can only imagine the Amazon people scurrying around like Rick and Aaron in the lake full of Walkers to get that supply drop done right.
