Glenn, Rosita, Maggie, Abraham and Eugene are on their way to Washington DC when they are stopped in their tracks by a major revelation: Dr. Eugene Porter is not who he says he is.

Up until this point, Eugene was the most protected man in the zombie apocalypse because he had everyone believing that he knew the secret to stopping the zombie virus. He needed to get to Washington DC to meet up with the scientists he knew would be there to work on the cure.

When Abraham learns that Eugene was lying the whole time, he reacts swiftly by knocking him out cold. When he falls, Eugene hits his head on the asphalt and he ends up unconscious much longer than he should have been. While he was out cold, Abraham struggled with his decisions, and everything that he did to protect him. It takes time, but eventually Rosita is able to bring Abraham back to his senses and they decide to rejoin the group.
