69. Rick and Michonne Finally Get It On…With Jesus

After a long day chasing Jesus, Rick returns to Alexandria and crashes on the couch with Michonne. Hand holding turns into kissing, and kissing leads to nooky nooky in the bedroom.

And then comes Jesus to interrupt the beautiful moment.

Seeing Michonne and Rick getting it on was a big treat for fans who watched as Michonne took on the maternal role for Carl, especially after his injury. Michonne was reunited with Rick and Carl after the group was split up after the prison, and she and Carl developed a very close relationship. When Carl struggled with his father’s decisions, he turned to Michonne for support.

After Jesus woke them up, Carl was there to see his dad and Michonne emerge from the bedroom, and later Carl gave his father his blessing on their relationship. Rick and Michonne work well together and at that point Carl is happy to see his father happy.
