Daryl Dish: Norman Reedus at the Golden Globes

Norman Reedus and girlfriend Diane Kruger turned heads on the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globes, where Kruger’s film In The Fade won for Best Foreign Language Film.

The lights were shining bright in Hollywood on Sunday when all eyes were on the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 75th annual Golden Globe Awards. The Golden Globes, hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, are known as being the fun awards show because celebrities get to let loose a lot more than they do at the Oscars. And that’s why fans were swooning over Norman Reedus as he made his red carpet debut with girlfriend Diane Kruger.

Kruger, whose film In The Fade was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film, invited Reedus to attend the event with her. Reedus met Kruger while filming the 2015 movie Sky, and though they kept their relationship under wraps early on, their romance is well known these days.

Not surprisingly, fans were thrilled to see Norman Reedus on the red carpet, in a tux, no less. Reedus was positively swoon-worthy in his black tux, a complete turn from his character on The Walking Dead.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted Reedus in the audience, where Kruger and Reedus shared a kiss when her film won the Best Foreign Film award.

(Note the woman staring at Reedus! That woman is all of us, am I right?)

Naturally, fans on social media were buzzing when they saw Norman Reedus on the red carpet. It even spurred a fun but slightly awkward conversation between New York Comic Con and Netflix of all things.

Reedus is currently filming season 3 of Ride with Norman Reedus. The Walking Dead returns February 25.
