Katelyn Nacon of The Walking Dead to judge 8secondz acting competition

Katelyn Nacon of The Walking Dead is just one of the judges on the 8secondz app where the next great actor could be discovered due to an 8-second video.
The Walking Dead has helped to bring a lot of actors and actresses to the spotlight. Since appearances on AMC’s zombie survival drama series, many cast members have gone on to huge roles in movies, television, music, or theatre.
One individual who is on the rise in the acting world is Katelyn Nacon. Known for her role as Enid, the season regular in the zombie apocalypse has been a viral video sensation on the Adult Swim short Too Many Cooks, is a co-star on T@gged, and has a music career to go along with it all.
Soon, Nacon will be able to add coach and mentor to her resume thanks to a new acting competition on the 8secondz app.

Fans interested in participating can do so. Just download the 8Secondz app from iTunes and start creating an 8-second video showing off some of your acting chops by recreating a famous scene from a show or movie.
From there, you’ll need the support of other app users to like your clip and get you noticed. If chosen, you can get personal acting lessons from a coach/mentor like Katelyn Nacon, who will judge the Start Acting Up round of the competition
Nacon and the other judges will select two videos as the winners and mentor the people who made the submissions on Skype, Google Hangouts, or over the phone.
The competition has already started. In fact, the contest runs through the end of January 2018 and there will be 5 different competitions during the month to advance. If you’re the ambitious sort, you can enter each competition in hopes of advancing, multiplying your chances.
