Zombies are everywhere thanks to the popularity of The Walking Dead franchise and soon they could be jumping off the labels of your wine bottle!

It seems like zombies are everywhere thanks to the popularity of The Walking Dead. The undead have made their way into everyday life by being featured on shirts, games, toys and even food and beverages.

Last Wine Company has released a Blood Red Blend and a Cabernet Sauvignon based on the hit franchise and if you use your smartphone and a new app by Living Wine Labels, you can get a little extra excitement out of your beverage.

The app brings the label to life and should be a lot of fun for fans of Robert Kirkman’s zombie survival stories. Check out a video from Jim Caudill on YouTube showing the label in action!

BusinessWire shared the information about these new labels on the wines from Last Wine Company and the results from the app are quite amusing, much like how Mountain Dew had their app released last year that brought augmented reality walkers to life.

Finding new and meaningful ways to connect with consumers is something we care very much about and we think The Walking Dead wine and Living Wine Labels Appare a perfect pairing.”"

The wine bottles are not yet available for sale. Both the Blood Red Blend and a Cabernet Sauvignon will be available for purchase in February of 2018.
