Justin Timberlake dropped a new single today and he makes a reference to The Walking Dead in the new song, which is sure to be another hit for him.

Prolific musician Justin Timberlake released his newest single, “Supplies,” today and fans of The Walking Dead will have reason to check it out.

The new song features a reference to the show. As Timberlake talks about being everything his partner needs him to be, he adds that the world can end because he’s supplying everything and they might as well be living in the world of The Walking Dead. When you hear the lyrics and see the apocalyptic tone of the video, it all really comes together.

Take a look at the music video:

And here’s a look at the pre-chorus and chorus lyrics so you can catch the reference:

"[Pre-Chorus]‘CauseI’ll be the light when you can’t seeI’ll be the wood when you need heatI’ll be the generator, turn me on when you need electricitySome shit’s ’bout to go downI’ll be the one with the level headThe world can end nowBaby, we’ll be living in The Walking Dead[Chorus]‘Cause I got supplie-ie-iesSupplie-ie-iesI got you, I got supplie-ie-iesSupplie-ie-ies"

As you can see, Timberlake is ready for the end because he’s got the supplies.

The music video has a dark, pre- and post-apocalyptic feel to it. While it doesn’t feature the undead, per se, the sense that being prepared for the end rings true in any kind of apocalyptic scenario.
