The Walking Dead characters make ‘The Last Stand’ in season 8B key art
By Adam Carlson
New The Walking Dead key art for the second half of season 8 shows Rick, Daryl, and Michonne looking intense while preparing to make ‘The Last Stand’.
The season 8 midseason premiere of The Walking Dead is one month away and AMC is excited to help push the February 25, 2018 date with the release of some new key art featuring three of our favorite characters from the show.
Of course, the return of the show also means that the survivors from Alexandria, The Hilltop, and The Kingdom will likely be saying farewell to Carl Grimes, meaning that it will be a highly emotional episode for many reasons.
Check out the season 8B key art for The Walking Dead featuring ‘The Last Stand’ of some of our favorite characters:
In the key art, Daryl has his crossbow drawn, Michonne is ready with her sword, and Rick Grimes has his revolver in one hand while holding his hatchet in the other, each with an intense look on their faces.

More interestingly, they appear to be set placed at the junkyard where Jadis and The Scavengers make their sanctuary. The piles of refuge look to be as far as the eye can see with tires, vehicles, wooden pallets and more serving for the possible location for the intense action.
Behind the piles of rubbish is a lot of dark smoke and flames. This is a bad sign for The Scavengers, who recently devoted themselves to helping Rick and his side attack The Saviors at The Sanctuary in order to defeat Negan and his soldiers.
Hidden amongst the rubble in the front are the hands of many walkers who appear to be very hungry while reaching for the three characters fighting for their lives and their freedom against all obstacles in the way.
