AMC has released some photos from the second half of The Walking Dead season 8 which look to tell a powerful story when the zombie drama returns from break.
The return of The Walking Dead from the midseason break of season 8 is less than a month away and fans of the AMC zombie drama series are wondering what the future holds for their favorite characters.
War continues to go on as survivors from Alexandria, The Hilltop, and The Kingdom have enlisted the help of The Scavengers to take on Negan and The Saviors, but the body count has already started to pile up.
Viewers curious as to what could be next for some of these characters were in for a treat when AMC released several photos on the network’s official website featuring some of the most popular and topical characters from the program.
Check out those images here:
As expected, Carl Grimes is the focus of a majority of the images, since it was revealed in the midseason finale that he had been bitten by a walker while fighting off the undead with Siddiq in the woods.
The midseason premiere will likely be a lengthy and emotional farewell to Carl, which explains why we see so many photos of him with Michonne and Rick or writing in his notebook possible farewells for those he won’t get to say them to.
However, some of the most interesting photos are the ones that show Maggie with the child from the outpost of The Saviors and Ezekiel appearing to be captured by Gavin of The Saviors after saving the people of The Kingdom.
Which of the photos have you the most excited for the return of AMC’s The Walking Dead on Sunday, February 25, 2018? Let us know what you think of this images in the comments section below.
