The Walking Dead’s Alicia Witt, Paula, has taken a side for this Sunday’s NFL Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles.

Alicia Witt, who played iconic Savior Paula on The Walking Dead, is on Team Brady this NFL Super Bowl LII! Witt has been actively cheering on the New England Patriots on Twitter, and was originally born in Worcester, Massachusetts. Gillette Stadium where the Patriots play games at is just a 50-minute drive from her hometown.

Though Alicia Witt now resides over in Nashville, Tennessee, her love for the Patriots remains life-long. Witt never forgot where she came from and she’ll be cheering on her defending champion Pats. The former Savior first left Massachusetts for Los Angeles back at the age of 14 where she supported herself by playing piano at the lobby lounge of the Beverly Wilshire hotel.

We wonder if the New England Patriots win the Super Bowl, will Witt have a timely song about the Patriots in store? Hint, hint. Witt previously offered all sorts of incentives for fans of her music with a Kickstarter campaign for EP 15,000 Days.

The EP was produced by Jacquire King and is likely going to be turned into a full album. One of the 639 backers on Kickstarter of the 15,000 Days EP was none other than Walking Dead co-star Melissa McBride.

The actress/singer-songwriter played Savior counterpart Paula on The Walking Dead in a way that transformed Carol Peletier forever back on season 6, episode 13: “The Same Boat”. Her voice was also heard on the prior episode, “Not Tomorrow Yet”.

Witt and McBride became quick friends on the set of The Walking Dead off-screen. Their friendship instantly recognizable on Talking Dead.

We anticipate Alicia Witt will be doing lots of Tweeting in support for the New England Patriots this Sunday for Super Bowl LII.
