Conflict with hostiles in a zombie apocalypse can lead to an invasion by said hostiles. But, thanks to The Walking Dead, we know a few ways to fight back.

Hostiles will always pose a threat to you in the zombie apocalypse; I don’t need to go into why. With them posing so much of a threat, it’s also a good possibility that they may invade your base.

But, if they do invade, what then? How are you going to survive if hostiles try to take over your home?

Well, fortunately, The Walking Dead has provided us with a pretty good blueprint for how to respond. If you’ll indulge me, I’d like to lay out these blueprints, just in case you ever find yourself needing them.

#1: The Fight ISN’T over.

The first thing you need to realize is that, just because the enemy has invaded, doesn’t mean that you’re screwed. So long as everyone in your group hasn’t been captured, you still have a fighting chance to send the hostiles packing.

Bleak though the prospect of having of your base invaded by hostiles will be, the important thing is not giving up.

If you give up when you or your group can still fight, you’ve done half the hostiles’ work for them!

To win, you have to resolve to keep fighting so long as you have the ability to do so. You have to encourage your group to be willing to fight, even in the face of long odds.

So long as you can keep fighting, you have a chance of winning.
