1. Carol

In many ways Carol is the ultimate survivor. If any character, male or female, from The Walking Dead world should one day have a spinoff it should be Carol. Over and over again she has been broken down to the core and she adapts, transforms, and rises again. She’s frightened of her own capacity for doing whatever it takes to survive and that has made her try to avoid forming connections with others. But despite everything she still loves very deeply and will risk it all, even her humanity, to protect the people she loves.

Many people thought that Carl would end up being the lone survivor and heading off into unexplored parts of the world to see if there was any real attempt to rebuild society. But Carol could easily fill that role. And of all the characters that have been introduced on The Walking Dead she’s one of the few that fans would want to see make it to a new world and new society after whatever caused the outbreak is eradicated.

It would be easy to see Carol going off on her own, or leaving with Daryl, to start over again after the trauma of All Out War and losing Carl has passed. Similar to the way that Morgan will be leaving to join Fear The Walking Dead Carol could easily transition from The Walking Dead to her own spinoff.
