The Walking Dead: 10 Female Characters That Could Carry A Spinoff

5. Luciana

Jumping over to the Fear world there are also a couple of female characters on that show that would be fantastic leads in a spinoff set in The Walking Dead universe. Luciana is a strong and smart woman who really wants to be part of a community and help people survive.

She had a complicated but interesting relationship with Nick that wasn’t explored nearly enough. And then in season 3 of Fear after being seriously injured she disappeared from Broke Jaw Ranch so that Nick wouldn’t have to choose between leaving with her for her safety and staying with his family at their ranch for their safety.

Danay Garcia has confirmed that Luciana will be back in Fear’s upcoming fourth season. But there will be a significant time jump in the new season of Fear to bring it up to the same period as The Walking Dead. That means that Luciana could carry a spinoff that covered her life before, during and after the immediate fall of society or she could carry a spinoff covering her time after leaving the ranch.

But seeing how she ended up at La Colonia and how she learned to fight would be a great spinoff. And it would bring in another point of view to the existing Walking Dead universe because it would show what happened and how people reacted in Mexico. The show has so far never explored how society fell or how people dealt with it in other countries.
