16) Laura shooting Dwight in the shoulder seems like a mirror of him shooting Daryl in the shoulder in Season Six’s “East”.

17) Along with that injury, the discovery of Dwight’s betrayal is a major departure from the comics, where his treachery never came to light.

18) Dean is, at least, the tenth named Savior to die this season. The other nine are Yago, Gunther, Nelson, Dino, Mara, Todd, Leo, Zia, and Morales.

19) Meanwhile, Carl is, at least, the eleventh member of The Group to die via a walker bite. The other eight are Amy, Jim, Otis, Patricia, Jimmy, T-Dog, Andrea, Bob, Tyreese, and Noah.

20) Carl’s death is a major departure from the comics, where he’s still very much alive and well.

21) Presumably, the walker that bit Carl was the one that came up one his side while helping Siddiq in “The King, The Widow, and Rick”.

22) Carl’s imminent death leaves only Rick, Carol, and Daryl as survivors of the original Atlanta group.

23) Additionally, this also means the scenes of old Rick with a 6-year old Judith from “Mercy” are not a flash forward, as they obviously contain Carl.
