Was the season 8 midseason premiere of AMC’s The Walking Dead good? Here are the good, bad, and interesting things from episode 809 titled ‘Honor’

The Walking Dead finally returned from their long midseason break for season 8 on Sunday, February 25, 2018 to continue the story of the survivors fighting for their freedom and their lives against Negan and The Saviors.

However, All-Out War has taken a back seat to concern for Carl Grimes. In the midseason finale, it was revealed that he had been bitten by a walker and finally revealed his wound to his father, Michonne, and the rest of the group.

Fans prepared themselves for just about anything to happen in episode 809 titled ‘Mercy’ but what did AMC have planned for fans? And where does the story involving Rick Grimes go from here?

Those are all great questions, but one important question involves whether or not the season 8 midseason premiere of The Walking Dead was any good. Let’s talk about the good, bad, and interesting things from season 8 episode 9 starting with the positives!
