#3. How did The Saviors escape The Sanctuary?

The entirety of the plan of the communities hinged on the ability of the walkers surrounding The Sanctuary to keep the people of The Saviors inside while the outposts were attacked by groups of the survivors.

Daryl running a truck into the side of the building to let walkers flow into The Sanctuary allowed for Negan’s men to take to the upper levels of the building while killing walkers on the ground floor. Between the lightening of horde outside and the shot-out windows, a plan was developed.

Eugene came up with a strategy to shoot walkers on both sides of the door, but nowhere else. The bodies piled up and created two short walls to form a path which could allow them to escape the building.

The plan was a success. There is some extra intrigue added that it was a former member of Rick’s group who devised the strategy, but his presence with The Saviors has a major impact on how All Out War played out to this point.
