Jeffrey Dean Morgan and wife Hilarie Burton welcome a baby girl. With son Gus, baby makes four for the Morgan family.
It’s a girl for Jeffrey Dean Morgan and his beautiful wife Hilarie Burton. Little Gus is officially a big brother now that his baby sister has made her debut.
Fans learned of the pregnancy back in September 2017 when Jeffrey Dean Morgan and his wife Hilarie Burton were on the red carpet at the 2017 Emmy Awards. Needless to say, Burton’s baby bump got all of the attention.
A week later, Morgan was in the middle of a panel at a Supernatural convention when he let it slip that he and his wife were expecting a little girl, which was supposed to be a secret.
Burton forgave him, of course, and he issued an adorable apology:
Morgan confirmed his daughter’s birth on social media, indicating that Baby Morgan is not ready for her public debut and would still like some private time with her new family: “Hey y’all… baby gal morgan is spectacular. We just respecting her wishes for laying low a bit longer. But we super appreciate all the well wishes n stuff. Thank you. Xojdhilgusandbabygal.”

You have to admit, Baby Morgan has great timing. She arrived after the season 8 mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead so her proud papa can’t focus on her instead of doing press for the return of the show.

Now that she has arrived, it’s not clear whether or not Morgan will still be able to make his scheduled appearances at Walker Stalker Con in London on March 10-11 and Germany March 17-18. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on social media for any updates as they become available.
