Negan calls out to his men who are out looking for Rick. He wants them to look everywhere. Simon arrives and Negan tells him that Carl played him. He also says he is built for this kind of world. Sion reports that the Hilltop job went well, and he asks about Gavin. Negan doesn’t know that Gavin is dead and says that even though Gavin is always upset he does a good job. Simon wants to know where he fits in and Negan tells him that he wants Simon on the Garbage People. Though they triple-crossed the Saviors, Negan sees them as a resource and he wants Simon to deliver the “kill one” message so they fall in line. Negan knows Simon is biting back words, so Simon says that they should cut their losses with the Garbage People. No one understands their mission so maybe they should get rid of them and go save other communities. Negan tells him that killing everyone doesn’t solve the problem. Saving people is hard, but it works. Simon says it hasn’t worked lately, but Negan knows that getting to Rick is the answer.

There’s a knock at the door and men come in with the coffin from the Hilltop. They can hear the Walker inside and they brought a drill. Negan looks at the message about having 38 more of his people and to stand down. Negan kills the Walker and Simon says those are his men and he vows to kill all of the Hilltoppers. “You will do your job!” Negan roars.
