The Walking Dead 810 recap: The Lost and the Plunderers

Simon isn’t happy. He storms through the Sanctuary and tells his men that they have to go to the landfill and they aren’t going to kill anyone.

When they arrive, the Scavengers are armed and ready for them. Simon says they’re friends, and Jadis nods at them. He says they need an apology from them for what happened with Rick. He reminds Jadis that they saw her there with him, and so they need an apology.

“No deal with Rick.” She says they brought Rick to them to kill him but they didn’t. Simon loses his temper, calling BS. He says Negan is willing to go back to their old terms and all will be forgiven, but they will take all of their guns and ammo too. They don’t want to give up their guns despite Simon’s promise to return them when they need them. Jadis nods.

Simon’s men start taking the weapons. Jadis looks calm and collected while Simon checks out her cat painting. He wants to know why they live in a dump. It’s their place. He knows about the helipad and solar panels in the back and wants to know what this was before. “A dump,” she says. He wants to know what this place was, and he says she still hasn’t gotten an apology. He wants remorse, so he shoots one of her people. Then he shoots Tamiel. Jadis punches Simon, and she looks like she’s about the snap. Simon tells his men to start killing everyone and they do.

Simon drives back to the Sanctuary and Negan is there. Still no word on Gavin, but Simon says he was good. Negan wants to know how it went, and Simon says there was remorse. The conversation was interrupted when Negan gets a call from Rick on the walkie talkie.
