MVP from The Walking Dead episode 810: The Lost and the Plunderers
By Adam Carlson
Who was the most valuable person from season 8 episode 10 of AMC’s The Walking Dead titled ‘The Lost and the Plunderers’ from Sunday, March 4, 2018?
While The Walking Dead didn’t really move on from the sad death of Carl Grimes in the season 8 midseason premiere, the follow-up episode covered quite a bit of ground on the zombie survival drama series.
Several stories were told in episode 810 titled ‘The Lost and the Plunderers’ that are setting the stage for what could be an explosive confrontation between The Saviors and the combined forces of The Hilltop, The Kingdom, and Alexandria.
But there was one character in particular who stood out more than the others during episode 810 and deserves to be named the most valuable person from ‘The Lost and the Plunderers’.
THE MVP FROM THE WALKING DEAD EPISODE 810 IS NEGAN
That’s right. The leader of The Saviors deserves to be named the MVP for several reasons, most of which show how he has continued to evolve as a leader.

First of all, Negan trusts his generals. He spoke highly of Gavin, Arat, and the others while talking to Simon about what The Saviors should do next. It shows that the structure he put in place is something that works for him and he delegates power well.
Next, he was able to keep Simon in line during his meeting with him. It was odd hearing Negan raise his voice like that, but for him to assert his authority when questioned using something other than violence was great to see, even if the message didn’t get through to Simon.
Finally, the end of the episode showed Negan distraught to learn of Carl’s passing. When he thought his group may have caused his death, it looked as though he would never forgive himself. He used this opportunity to remind Rick that all of this could have been avoided, even if that meant sacrificing some freedom in exchange for protection.

Other candidates for MVP during this episode of The Walking Dead were Jadis for showing her true colors and dealing with the loss of all her people and Aaron for not wanting to give up hope that Oceanside could be convinced to join the fight.
