The Good Stuff from TWD 811

  1. The stories converging. Father Gabriel and Dr. Carson are heading to The Hilltop just like the people from Alexandria are and Enid is. With everyone meeting up, action will be picking up soon on the show!
  2. Morgan watching Henry. Henry is still one mad kid and his desire to kill The Saviors is relentless. Even though Morgan may be one messed up individual, he still can be a friend to those in need, much like Carol can be. Plus, saying Gavin killed Henry’s brother even though it isn’t true was a nice move…as long as he doesn’t discover the truth.
  3. Negan utilizing Eugene’s talents and testing him. It’s interesting that Negan would choose Eugene to lead an outpost. That decision not only will provide The Saviors with more ammunition, but it may provide some instances of hesitation for the people of Alexandria if they realize it was him.
  4. Dwight explaining the swamp. The swamp is the safest route because he knows The Saviors won’t be there. Those questioning him were given a speech that may have solidified his allegiance to Rick and the group. Plus, surrendering himself to The Saviors to save everyone else was a big-time move!
  5. Siddiq already stepping up. Carl risked his life to have Siddiq join the group. The fact that Siddiq is already trusted and working hard to be a part of everything is amazing. It shows the value that he has to offer everyone going forward.
  6. Father Gabriel’s faith. It’s great that this episode has been so great for Gabriel. Sure, his vision may be pretty close to gone, but that doesn’t mean that he has to be down in the dumps or dwell on the negatives. Instead, he uses the impairment to enhance his other senses and use his faith.
  7. Weaponizing walker guts. Negan has a good strategy thanks to Eugene. Once again, it is Eugene who comes up something disturbing and awful to help The Saviors get an edge over the other survivors.
