Who was the most valuable person from season 8 episode 12 of The Walking Dead titled ‘The Key’ which aired on Sunday, March 18, 2018?

During each episode of The Walking Dead, there is always a lot of developments made to move a story forward or explain things that have happened in previous episodes of the zombie survival drama series.

Season 8 episode 12 titled ‘The Key’ is no different. There were some big storylines going on that should have fans of the popular AMC program excited for future installments of the story. But there is usually one character who stands out more than others.

After giving it a lot of thought, we have chosen who we believe was the most valuable character from episode 812. Here is our decision:

THE MVP FROM TWD 812 IS GEORGIE

The Walking Dead did an interesting job of introducing Georgie and her ‘bodyguards’ Hilda and Midge between the action and excitement of Rick and Negan playing a game of Marco Polo is a dark building.

First of all, Georgie has a huge set of balls (figuratively) to approach a community in hopes of a trade for something like music records. The fact that they aren’t intimidated one bit to do so says a lot about their experience.

However, their willingness to trade information for records is very curious. Since records are a luxury item in the zombie apocalypse, getting them means that whatever community they are from is most likely very well established and her representation of her group gives the impression that they are very strong.

She played ball very well despite being treated in a hostile manner by Maggie during the initial stages of their relationship and kept their deal to earn ‘the key’, which is a manual to rebuilding society one step at a time.

Thanks to her, The Hilltop can now have the ability to have more than enough food and resources for survival if they choose to go down that path. However, if The Hilltop is on the losing side of the war, this just means they will have more to share give Negan and The Saviors…if they survive that long.

Next: Was TWD episode 812 any good?

There weren’t really any other possible MVPs from this episode of The Walking Dead. Several characters went against the plan again while others fought within their own ranks. Thankfully, Georgie is an interesting character who fans could get to know more about in future installments of the series.
