The Walking Dead 813 synopsis: Do Not Lead Us Astray

The Walking Dead continues with season 8 episode 13, “Do Not Send Us Astray.” Here’s your synopsis of the all-new episode airing March 25, 2018.

Can’t we just leave the Hilltop alone? There’s more trouble on the way for Maggie and the Hilltop as a new group of unexpected visitors arrive. Is it Simon? Is it someone else? Regardless, the Hilltop has to be ready.

Here’s the official synopsis of The Walking Dead “Do Not Send Us Astray” from AMC:

“Trouble arises when unexpected visitors arrive at the Hilltop and the community is thrust into action; heartbreaking discoveries are made.”

It’s hard to believe that we’re five episodes into the back half of season 8. After “Do Not Send Us Astray” there are only three episodes left before the season is over. So far we have seen the battle shift away from Alexandria and the Sanctuary and toward the Hilltop. In fact, all of the action seems to be centered around the Hilltop, and rightfully so, as it’s the last fully-functional community out there. There’s a lot riding on the Hilltop and it must be protected at all costs.

After Georgie’s mysterious arrival in “The Key,” the Hilltop will have another set of unexpected visitors and based on the preview it sounds like these visitors aren’t the type to come bearing gifts that will help build a new future.

We’ve known Simon is on a mission for revenge, and now just might be the time that he plans to exact that revenge. Negan isn’t in his way and he doesn’t have to worry about nicking people enough to get some Walker blood in them. He can take lives and get the revenge he has been looking for. Something tells us, though, that Maggie’s people aren’t going down without a fight.
