Review of The Walking Dead episode 813: Do Not Send Us Astray
By Adam Carlson
Overall impression of TWD 813
As a whole, this episode of The Walking Dead had a lot to offer fans in terms of action, excitement, drama, and storytelling despite the events of the story not being in favor of the survivors at The Hilltop.

There are plenty of questions that need to be answered during this episode, including the wounds to Tara and Rick and whether or not they were hit with infected weapons and will eventually turn into walkers like the others hit by members of The Saviors, what Negan will do when he finds out about Simon’s second betrayal, and what happened to Henry.
Weirdly enough, this was a bad episode for Rick, who not only didn’t help Siddiq grieve, but also still remained extremely focused on killing every member of The Saviors, being locked on to eliminating Negan and not apologizing for deviating from his plans.
For the show to be thinning the herd again makes sense. A bigger world is great for the show, but in the end, it’s all about having a core group of characters for viewers of the show to be deeply concerned about. This episode will help to narrow the scope of war and allow us to learn more about the individuals and groups that mean the most to us.
This was a good episode with some solid value to be re-watched. GRADE: 8.3/10
