There is always one character that stands out during an episode of The Walking Dead. Here is our MVP from season 8 episode 13 ‘Do Not Send Us Astray’.

Fans of The Walking Dead were treated to an intense and deadly installment of the zombie survival drama series on Sunday, March 25, 2018 that featured war, walkers, and wild moments.

Season 8 episode 13 titled ‘Do Not Send Us Astray’ had a lot of characters in surprising roles with a lot of quick decisions needing to be made when the infected people from The Hilltop reanimated and attacked their own people.

However, one character performed at an extremely high level and deserves to be the most valuable person from episode 813. After much consideration,

The MVP from TWD 813 is Maggie Rhee!

This was a difficult episode to judge because of everything happening and no character coming out mistake-free, but Maggie was the closest to being a leader and figurehead for the communities during All-Out War.

More from Undead Walking

Maggie had the people of The Hilltop ready for when The Saviors arrived on the doorstep of The Hilltop, having a spike strip set up to stop the vehicles as they approached the gate despite a lack of notice from Rick when the motorcade was coming.

Not only that, but she had a plan of attack ready inside the community as well, using vehicles for cover as well as lights to blind Simon and his men when they approached to wipe out everyone at The Hilltop.

Maggie also took in Aldon, a defector from The Saviors who was being held in the pen after being captured from an outpost during the initial stages of All-Out War and learned his value to Simon at the gates.

The only real knock on Maggie during ‘Do Not Send Us Astray’ is that she is still thirsty for the blood of Negan, and is blinded by her desire to kill him for what he did to Glenn during the season 7 premiere episode.
