As “All Out War” enters its final phase on The Walking Dead, power and influence remain a moving target. Both sides continue to fight battles from within and it’s becoming clear that there will be no real winners when the war ends.

What people don’t know presents the biggest challenge to those currently holding the keys to power on The Walking Dead. Information is a dangerous weapon, and given how slowly it moves in the new world, timing is everything.

Now, as we approach the end of season 8, secrets and demons appear to be on a collision course.

With that in mind, here are this week’s five to watch an one to watch out for:

5. Laura

There are a lot of things we don’t know about Laura. Her whereabouts being one of them. What we do know is that she is a high ranking Savior and fiercely loyal to their cause. She also has damning proof that  Dwight is a traitor. During the assault on Alexandria, Dwight led his group directly into an ambush and Laura managed to escape. Before she got away though, she saw what he had done and accused him of being the mysterious mole all along.

A sudden appearance by Laura could expose Dwight to Simon, who has also betrayed Negan but for completely different reasons. Despite rejecting Negan’s approach, Simon still believes in the Saviors. Dwight does not. If Laura is still alive, she threatens to further destabilize the group after a not-so-successful attack on Hilltop. Revealing Dwight’s disloyalty, coupled with Simon’s temporary ‘faux’ ouster of Negan, has the potential to throw what’s left of the Saviors into chaos. Not to mention the danger it presents for Dwight’s own survival.
