The key art for The Walking Dead: The Final Season from Telltale Games should be VERY familiar to fans of the video game franchise.

Telltale Games is preparing to release the final installment in The Walking Dead franchise and fans got another peek at what to expect from the emotionally-powerful and  massively popular video game series.

While the release of The Final Season doesn’t have a definitive date yet, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about this conclusion of the story involving Clementine and the survivors in the interactive drama game.

Other than the walkers, the two characters who should be focused on in the key art for The Final Season are Clementine and A.J. Clementine is holding an ax while protecting A.J from the undead with her other arm.

Fans of the series may notice a massive similarity between the key art from the first season of the Telltale Games series and the The Final Season that can’t be ignored and may signal another changing of the guard before the game’s conclusion.

While it’s sad that Clementine’s story is coming to a close, it’s exciting to get another installment of the story. Hopefully, her story doesn’t end the way Lee’s did.

The official Twitter account of Telltale Games revealed that they will be revealing a ‘first look’ at the final game in the series at the PAX East panel during Penny Arcade Expo on Friday, April 6 at 12:30pm ET.
