The good stuff from TWD 814

  1. Jadis plays dead REALLY well. Not only did she cover a body up before dying, but she put herself in an awkward position and played dead. She didn’t give up her position, even when a member of The Saviors delivered a monologue to her ‘corpse’ and spit on her. Well played, Jadis. Well played.
  2. Tara is alright. Dwight’s arrow wasn’t covered with walker blood or guts, meaning she isn’t going to turn. Her mercy toward Dwight has made her realize that killing Dwight isn’t the right thing, and she made sure to tell Daryl about her decision to stop the manhunt.
  3. McBride and James are great together. I swear, I would watch a spin-off of this show that just featured Morgan and Carol doing their best to survive in the zombie apocalypse. It’s a shock that neither of them have won awards for best supporting actor or actress for their performances in the past.
  4. The Scavengers are using the Helipad for something. While we still don’t know what the helicopter is for, what it is bringing or taking, we know that there is something happening that we don’t quiet understand. And the intense exchange between Negan and Jadis made the scene even more interesting.
  5. Alden is giving great information. Not only did he give away the possible location of the escaped prisoners, but he explained the path the could have taken and sold out every member of his former outpost. He continues to be valuable.
  6. Negan reaching out to Jadis. It’s not too often we get to see the sensitive side of Negan, but when we do get to see it, it is really cool. It helps to give layers to a complicated character and help shed the thought that he’s just an evil man looking to rule the area with an iron fist.
