Overall Impression of TWD 815

For the episode leading up to the season 8 finale of The Walking Dead, ‘Worth’ was a bit of a mixed bag of positives and negatives as well as some storylines that didn’t change a lot.

  • One of the biggest storylines that has been building over the last few weeks has been Aaron’s attempts to get Oceanside to join the war. Well, Aaron has been living outside their community and killing walkers, but not eating and rarely drinking any water. Even though they surrounded him, we still don’t know if they have finally accepted him.

Thankfully, we did get a resolution to several storylines including Simon’s rogue actions, Dwight’s double-cross, and Laura’s disappearance as well as more confirmation as to how cowardly Gregory really is.

This episode didn’t feature many of the survivors from The Hilltop or Rick’s group at all, yet they weren’t really missed with all the story going on at The Sanctuary. But the discussion between Michonne and Negan doesn’t give much hope at all that Carl’s vision for a peaceful resolution to the war might just be a pipe dream.
