8) “Bitten Henry” is, depending on how you look at it, the first hallucination (As opposed to a ghost) we’ve seen since Daryl was harassed by a hallucination of Merle while searching for Sophia (Gee, what a coincidence!) back in Season Two’s “Chupacabra”.

9) Morgan telling Carol he “doesn’t die” is a callback to him telling Rick the same thing back in Season Three’s “Clear”. See, I told you there were a lot of shout-outs this season…

10) Jadis’s cart-mounted walker (“Mr. Ninety-Degrees”, as Negan calls him) is, at least, the third “Winslow” Jadis has made.

11) Umm…who the hell is flying the helicopter!? In any event, this is the first time we’ve seen anyone flying a helicopter since Rick caught a glimpse of one in “The Big Scary U”.

12) In yet another callback to Season Three’s “Clear”, as Morgan finds Rick (And, honestly, looks ready to kill him), Rick says “Hey. You know me.” This is exactly what Rick says to Morgan to stop him from attacking in that episode.

13) This episode gets its name from Rick saying “A man’s word…it’s gotta mean something, right?”

14) It’s rather surprising to see Rick give his word to the Savior escapees, then betray them, considering how horrified he was by Daryl killing Todd after Rick had promised to spare him in “Monsters”.
