15) Evan (The bearded escapee) and Reilly (The Savior who saves Rick) are the fourteenth and fifteenth named Saviors killed this season.

16) Jared is the sixteenth named Savior killed this season. Took him long enough.

17) Incidentally, Jared being attacked by walkers after having his path to safety blocked by a cage is a callback to Rick’s attempt to get rid of Andrew back in Season Three’s “Sick”. The difference here is that, while Rick left Andrew alone, assuming he died, Morgan held firm (Literally), ensuring Jared’s death.

18) Rick killing Reilly as Reilly talks about how they could have coexisted after the war is reminiscent of Rick killing Officer Lamson back in Season Five’s “Coda”. Apparently, you can go back, Bob.

19) After killing the Savior escapees, Morgan tells Rick “Everybody turns”. Does he mean “turn” as in people turning into walkers? Or, does he mean turning into killers, like he and Rick?

20) Carol finds Henry being threatened by a pair of walkers beneath a nest of tree roots at a riverbank. This is a callback to the sort of situation Sophia found herself in way back in Season Two’s “What Lies Ahead”. However, it is not merely a callback to that scenario, as that is the same riverbank used for that scene. Additionally, this is something of a “coming full circle” as Melissa McBride (Carol) gets to play a scene with Macsen Lintz (Henry) that she never got to have with Macsen’s sister, Madison, who played Sophia.

21) Carol recounting to Ezekiel what happened to Sophia might be the first time Carol’s explained that saga since giving a synopsis of it to Mika back in Season Four.

And, with that, we’ve concluded our Things To Note for this week. Was there anything you missed? Was there anything I missed? Feel free to throw in your things to note in the comments!
