There was a LOT happening during season 8 episode 15 of AMC’s The Walking Dead, but one character shined in ‘Worth’ to be named our Most Valuable Person!

Fans tuning into AMC on Sunday, April 8, 2018 were treated to an intense and intriguing episode of The Walking Dead featuring the resolution of several storylines and the set-up for what should be an action-packed conclusion to season 8 next week.

However, there is always one character who stands out more than others during an installment of the story. Despite many great performances during episode 815 titled ‘Worth’, there was one that stood out more than others.

After a lot of deliberation, a decision was made and our Most Valuable Person was chosen.

THE MVP FROM TWD 815 IS EUGENE PORTER

Okay, give me a minute before saying that this is a horrible choice. I do have some reasons for choosing Eugene that make total sense.

The first thing that stuck out is that Eugene obviously doesn’t like who he has become. While he’s struggling with this internal conflict, he is trying to make sure that his own butt is safe while buying time in the war.

However, he took Gabriel off the line when the Father complained of his unwillingness to help the war and desire to live. He did so with a backhanded slew of insults, but still gave Gabe exactly what he wanted.

Then, after being abducted by Rosita and Daryl and realizing that he was going to be a prisoner there, he forced himself to throw up on Rosita while Daryl was fighting walkers and made his escape, hiding under a tarp of ashes.

Under usual circumstances, Eugene can’t protect himself or anyone else, but he was able to do both during this episode, even though it meant putting Gabriel back on the production line at the end of the episode.

Other options for the MVP from this episode are Negan for dealing with Simon and Dwight for doing his best to help Rick and the survivors of the war.
