Fear The Walking Dead is back for season 4 on Sunday and you can watch the first 3 minutes right now.
Fear The Walking Dead season 4 premiers on Sunday directly after The Walking Dead season 8 finale. That’s to set up the much talked about crossover where Morgan Jones will be joining Fear The Walking Dead. And you can now watch the first 3 minutes of the Fear The Walking Dead season 4 premiere.
On Friday Skybound released the first 3 minutes of the Fear The Walking Dead season 4 premiere which introduces a new character, John, played by Garret Dillahunt. John is an old school gunslinger and definitely someone that is good to have on your side in a fight.
But he’s also been surviving alone for what seems to be a long time. How will John fit into the new narrative? And will he meet up with Morgan? There are a lot of questions that will be answered in the Fear season 4 premiere about the time jump and the new storyline.
John is just one of several new characters that are joining the Fear lineup for the new season. There is also Althea, played by Maggie Grace. And Naomi, played by Jenna Elfman. The new trio are all main characters who will play large roles in the story as season 4 heads into a brand new storyline and a brand new setting in Texas.
Fear The Walking Dead Rebooted
After the season 3 finale of Fear The Walking Dead there is a time jump that pushes the characters to a new place and resets the story. Now the survivors are in Texas, and the backstory of how they got there will be revealed throughout season 4.
With the time jump Fear is essentially being rebooted. So it’s not necessary to have seen seasons 1-3 in order to catch up with the survivors. If you haven’t watched Fear The Walking Dead before or if you gave up on it after 1-2 seasons like a lot of Walking Dead fans did now is the perfect time to come back to it.
The Fear story is more cohesive now and has a new look, new stories, and new characters to round out the cast. This season is on pace to be the best season of Fear yet so fans of The Walking Dead universe will not be disappointed in the new Fear The Walking Dead.
