The bad things

  1. The stubborn nature of Morgan. We know that Morgan is struggling with losing so many people who were close to him. His inability and lack of desire to get to know anyone is not any way of living, at least not if you want to live a happy life. Not even those he cared about could convince him to stay, even if that’s not him anymore.
  2. Non-violence toward humans. As much as Morgan and John don’t want to hurt human beings, there are times when you have to buckle down and fight. That means hurting and maybe even killing other people. Not doing so is more dangerous than actually fighting.
  3. Morgan getting closed out. When Morgan actually tries to help someone who is hurt in a vehicle, he gets denied and is told off. This experience likely closes him off even more and frustrates him while validating his mindset.
  4. Cliche goons. I like bad guys when they have a great reason to be bad guys, but when it is just stupid grunts doing work and not showing any kind of human ability, it detracts from the situation a bit. Sure, these are hardened survivors, but that doesn’t mean they have to be tropes.
  5. The main characters are villains? Has the Fear The Walking Dead world flipped upside down? Are we now supposed to dislike the character we were supposed to be rooting for the last 3 seasons? This situation is going to need a lot of really good explanations.
