The Bad Things

  1. Rick wanting to keep Morgan behind. Morgan has one objective: to clear. He wants to kill to protect Henry, Carol, and more of the people he cares about. Leaving someone out of the fight who might just be their best asset would be a huge mistake, especially since Rick was in a bad mental state as well.
  2. Keeping Aldon at The Hilltop. If you can’t trust Aldon to fight by your side, you can’t trust him to stay in your community. He could do a lot of damage there if you believe you had any allegiance to Negan left in him, at least you’d have an eye on him on the battlefield.
  3. Getting caught in a monologue. Negan couldn’t help but reveal his entire plan to Eugene and Father Gabriel despite both of them having ties to Rick and the survivors from his group. Do all ‘bad’ guys end up talking WAY too much? What happened to a ‘need to know’ basis?
  4. More bullets weren’t tested. You’d think there would be more quality control when it comes to the ammunition to be used during the war. Negan’s lack of a system of checks and balances turns out to bite him in the butt again, and the lesson continues to not be learned.
  5. Maggie still thirsting for blood. Yes, Glenn is dead. And revenge would feel great on a temporary level, but Rick is right. Killing him would go against everything Carl said and would build a community based on bloodshed.
