Dean

Survival is what Dean’s primary operative is. He can bend himself to fit into situations where he can manipulate other survivors before taking advantage of the situation. This was defined in his introducing scene.
When found by Jesus and Tara during a raid on an outpost, Dean peed his pants and pretended to be hiding in fear. Once Jesus showed mercy to him while arguing with Tara about what they should do, Dean took Jesus hostage.
Dean stomped some prenatal vitamins and threatens the future of Maggie’s baby, but Jesus still refuses to kill him. He is taken as a hostage and is brought to The Hilltop, where he and others are put into a pen.
In order to send a message to Negan and The Saviors after the killing of Neil, Maggie shot Dean in the side of his face and sealed him in a casket, only to deliver him to The Sanctuary as a walker to be put down by Negan by using a nail gun.
