Simon

• Played by: Steven Ogg
• Introduced: Episode 616 ‘Last Day on Earth’
• Died: Episode 817 ‘Worth’
• Killed by: Negan

Despite being a despicable person, Simon had a lot of charisma. He was considered to be Negan’s right-hand man despite having a history of being reckless and impulsive, especially in situations where he loses his temper.

There is a point where someone like that stops becoming valuable. Negan forgave Simon for massacring all the men and older boys at Oceanside as well as killing all of The Scavengers except Jadis.

Despite all that, Simon still wanted more power and authority and attempted to organize a coup against Negan, enlisting several members of The Saviors to rise up and try to push the leader out of power.

This led to those followers getting eliminated and a one-on-one fight between Negan and Simon for control of The Saviors and The Sanctuary. After some great back and forth, Negan emerged victorious, mounting Simon and choking him to death before having Simon chained to the fence as a reminder to everyone considering going against Negan.
