Lance and Duke

It’s gotta suck to be part of a group of decoys. Negan knows that people are a resource and doesn’t like to use his people in that method, but knew he needed the advantage to defeat Rick and the survivors.
Lance and Duke were part of the group sent to the location marked on Dwight’s map as the decoy location where Negan would be.
They executed their job to perfection, placing walkers by the vehicles to serve as a distraction, but were easily wiped out by Rick’s group. Once they were wiped out, they’d find another map leading them directly into the real trap.
They didn’t even live to fight on the front lines during All-Out War, but still could have played a vital role if the ammunition given to The Saviors wasn’t sabotaged.
