1) This episode begins with Rick reading Carl’s letter, hearing it in Carl’s voice. I suppose, despite the fact his character has been dead for six episodes, this would, technically, be Chandler Riggs’ last episode.

2) In the letter, Carl mentions an “Aunt Evie”. Was she Lori’s sister? Rick’s? Or, was she just a family friend? Furthermore, is she still alive?

3) This episode gets its name from Carl telling Rick (Via his letter): “We don’t have to forget what happened, but you can make it so that it won’t happen again, that nobody has to live this way, that every life is Worth something”.

4) Sure enough, Chandler Riggs’ name appears in its usual spot in the title sequence, confirming my guess from earlier.

5) Simon’s complaint that Gregory “…made [Him] look like an ass” is a reference to Gregory’s failed bid to get Hilltop to abandon The Alliance back in “Mercy”.

6) If Simon’s behavior in “The Lost And The Plunderers” weren’t a big enough clue, his comment that Negan “pulled his punches” should explain the motive behind Simon’s attempted coup.

7) Gregory warning Simon that only he could (Potentially) advise him on politics seems to hint at what Gregory may have been before the outbreak: A politician.
