5 reasons Fear The Walking Dead episode 401 was awesome

When we last left off on The Walking Dead season 8 finale, Rick had won the war but Morgan was still in the midst of his own mental battle. After retrieving Jadis, he remained at her home when Jesus, Carol, and Rick visit him on separate occasions.

Morgan was adjusting to life away the group, similarly to what we saw Carol do in season 7 of The Walking Dead. What is so bittersweet about seeing them is how each wants Morgan to come back.

They care about Morgan and reminded audiences how he affected their lives.

They remind him of all the things he had done for them and how they want to return the favor. This is a brilliant but subtle way to introduce Fear The Walking Dead fans to some of The Walking Dead characters they might not be familiar with.

Even though Morgan leaves, it was nice to see some familiar faces before we are introduced to new ones.
