Al’s Filming Project

Though this might be seen as paying homage to number one (as mentioned above), Al’s project of filming people she meets was a nice reminder of what is valuable: the past.

After Al saves Morgan and John, she takes them to trailer park marked 51 on a white flag. She proceeds to reveal she used to be a journalist and wants to get to know the two gentlemen.

While John was easy to film, Morgan refused to open up as quickly. This was just one of several moments where Morgan became conflicted.

It’s obvious his tactic of trying to stay away from strangers isn’t working. Especially with Al is determined to learn more about him.

Towards the end of the episode, he begins to reveal small things like his full name, Alexandria and even mentions Shiva (gone too soon) all the while Al listened in astonishment.

We haven’t seen her previous film recordings nor do we know whom else she has interviewed. Maybe we’ll see some of her films later in the season.
