1) John refers to the infected as “The Passed”. This is the eighth unique term for the dead to appear in Fear The Walking Dead.

2) John explains that he had a place before with, as he put it, “A metric ton of popcorn”. Was he in an abandoned movie theater? He did say that he used to watch a lot of movies…

3) This episode gets its name from John asking Morgan “What’s your story?” upon realizing that he’s alive.

4) This season is, not too surprisingly, the first season of Fear The Walking Dead with a completely new title sequence.

5) After the title sequence, this episode picks up, both in-story and in real time, not long after The Walking Dead’s Season Eight finale, “Wrath”, left off, with Morgan living in the junkyard.

6) It’s amusing that Jesus should say to Morgan “‘Here’ and ‘there’ are just labels”. It seems like a longer way of saying one of Morgan’s Crazytown mantras (And the name of Morgan’s Season Six episode): “Here’s not here”.

7) Before leaving Virginia, Morgan says to himself “You know what it is”. This is a phrase that’s been haunting Morgan for not only the latter half of Season Eight, but even going back to the aforementioned “Here’s Not Here”.
