The good stuff

  1. Seeing a different perspective. It’s kind of cool to see events from the same timeframe from two different points of view, especially considering how the first episode featured the new characters and this one centered around the familiar faces.
  2. Getting the gang back together. Not even one minute into the episode and we see that Madison, Alicia, Nick, Luciana, and Strand are all alive and together in one location. Thank goodness for that.
  3. Madison actually being playful. Admittedly, I don’t like Madison as a character, but this episode made me like her much more since she opened up, told jokes, and seemed like someone that might actually be enjoyable to spend time in the apocalypse with.
  4. Taking in other survivors. It’s strange to think that the biggest resource in the zombie apocalypse is something that can either make the community stronger or destroy it from the inside.
  5. Not getting down. Sure, the group got played and threatened, but that didn’t stop Nick from keeping going with the crops, Madison from building more rooms, and the group from going about their daily routines, with Luciana still giving the book she found to Charlie.
  6. Bringing Naomi back. She might not be much of a talker, but sometimes people have a  lot more to offer alive than they do dead. Naomi is a nurse and a valuable asset, but she could have just been brains splattered against a wall. People need people.
