The Walking Dead fans react to Lauren Cohan returning for season 9

Maggie Rhee will be back for season 9 of The Walking Dead and fans are thrilled. Here are some of the best reactions to the news that Lauren Cohan will appear in season 9.
The Walking Dead season 9 starts filming very soon and until now the fate of Maggie Greene Rhee was up in the air. There was a contract dispute between Lauren Cohan and the show and when Lauren signed onto a new ABC pilot it looked like she may not return for season 9 of The Walking Dead.
But Lauren announced recently that she is returning to The Walking Dead in season 9. That’s a huge relief for fans, and a very good thing for the show. The season 8 finale teased a pretty big story arc for Maggie in season 9.
Maggie is still set on exacting revenge against Negan for Glenn’s death and that could put her in direct conflict with Rick, who spared Negan’s life in the season 8 finale. Maggie is now the leader at The Hilltop and fans are anxious to see her take on that bigger leadership role. They are also anxious to see Baby Rhee and get some closure about Glenn’s death by seeing his child thriving at The Hilltop with Maggie.
Season 9 of TWD starts filming in just days and fans have been wondering what Maggie’s fate would be. They were overjoyed to hear that Lauren Cohan will be returning to the show and expressed their feelings about it on Twitter:

But, that's all for October. Today, I found out that Lauren got her money and that Maggie Rhee won't be dying anytime soon. That makes me happy. I'm sticking with #TWD even now for my faves and she's one of them.
