  1. The two groups prove in this episode that they can work together. While they only have a begrudging trust of each other at this point, they see that they are stronger together than they are apart. With Nick gone, they will need each other more than ever.
  2. Al proves that she’s more than capable of surviving. She might not seem like she’s a survivor at first, and her mission to record stories might paint her as ignorant of the reality of their situation, but as she says, this isn’t the first time she has been zip-tied. Al is more than capable of surviving, and she’s going to be an asset anyone she joins with.
  3. Strand practices a fair amount of dipomacy in tonight’s episode. He asks for shows of faith, and he offers them in return. This is a lot different than the Strand we have been used to seeing all this time. This is a man who has been through a lot (as we see with the mark on his hand) and he knows better than to try to pull anything on anyone. Not now, anyway.
  4. Morgan giving Nick his copy of “The Art of Peace” and offering to talk to him about anything was a very touching moment.
  5. John and Luciana seem to be the most trusting of the two groups. They have been through a lot, clearly, but they also know when to come together as a group. John and Luciana have been on their own more than the others, and they have that in common.
